Choose a membership tailored to your role—whether you're a healthcare provider, researcher, patient, or student—and become part of a global community advancing chronic infectious disease care. Submitting your application is easy and can be done online by selecting a membership type below. Our Membership Committee reviews all applications within 30 days. Once approved, you'll gain full access to member benefits. Membership is valid for one year and is renewed annually by confirming your continued engagement.

Membership Eligibility & Requirements

Healthcare Providers & Scientists

Who Can Join:

  • Licensed healthcare professionals (e.g., MD, ND, RN, PT, etc.)
  • Researchers in fields like microbiology, public health, or epidemiology

Requirements:

  • Valid license or scientific credentials
  • 2+ years experience OR early-career recommendation
  • Participation in CIPRESS events or research forums
  • Agreement to CIPRESS code of conduct
  • Submission of CV, credentials, and a member recommendation

Students

Who Can Join:

  • Students studying healthcare, science, or public health 


Requirements:

  • Participation in at least one CIPRESS activity annually 
  • Agreement to CIPRESS code of conduct

Patients & Advocates

Who Can Join:

  • Individuals diagnosed with or affected by vector-borne illness
  • Advocates passionate about patient-centered care

Requirements:

  • Interest in advocacy, awareness, or patient support
  • Participation in at least one CIPRESS activity annually
  • Agreement to the patient advocacy code of conduct
  • Submission of basic personal info and optional diagnosis letter or statement
  • A recommendation from a current CIPRESS member
